“WORK IS FOR PEOPLE WHO DON’T KNOW HOW TO FISH”

Today.. it was such a beautiful and sunny day, I decided to do some spring cleaning to my car and brought it to the car wash to have it cleaned and vacuumed.. the moment I drove out of the car wash, it began to start pouring.. oh wells, I thought.. I’ll just quickly drive it to my underground carpark. Red light. Car stops. Rudy’s fingers drumming on steering wheel, listening to his favourite Jay Chou song. Suddenly, from out of nowhere, something horrible appears from behind. Tyres screeching. Metal cranking. Loud explosive sound. Two words. Woman driver.

Sometimes.. we don’t understand how difficult it is to do something so simple. Red light. Slow down.. step on brakes.  Instead, we step on the accelertor and do the illogical. Then it hit me.

It makes perfect sense to me to run your own business. It’s simple. Yet, in the face of circumstances, it takes courage. Why are there so few Entrepreneurs? The answer is simple.

Do you have what it takes to be in control of any situation.. to be in control of your life?

“My son is now an “entrepreneur.” That’s what you’re called when you don’t have a job.” - Ted Turner

“ALWAYS GO TO OTHER PEOPLE’S FUNERALS, OR THEY WON’T GO TO YOURS.”

Hi there once again.. welcome back.. when I was 24.. I suffered from 3 heart attacks.. and I thought my life was about to end from the last attack.. amazing for a young person such as myself.. what was I thinking when I was about to die? Many things.. like what was it that people will miss the most? What will I be remembered for? Have I done enough? Could I have done more? I treated myself and my mother to a good dinner after a near death experience because you can’t argue that life is short. We should savour every bit of it.

After each near death experience, I would come back stronger and with more resilence. Do or Do not. There is no try.

Do you like what will be on your gravestone if you were to pass away today?

“IF AT FIRST YOU DON’T SUCCEED, DESTROY ALL EVIDENCE THAT YOU TRIED.”

I was at a bbq gathering one night when someone asked me what I did. I explained several of the businesses I ran and her eyes lit up. Not that she was interested in my money or anything. She was from the local university and she went on to tell me how she had this friend who was always talking about starting business. I said that’s great… why don’t you refer him to me and I’ll see how I can help. You see, one of the businesses I run help people set up businesses. She agreed but mentioned that there was only one problem. “What’s that?” I asked. “He’s been talking about it for the past 5 years.” she replied.

Heard of a similar story before? So often do I hear of tall stories that lead to nowhere. I once read on a bookmark that an idea will remain an idea until you do something about it. Honestly, how on earth do you expect to succeed if no one can trust what you say because you can’t deliver what you promise? If you’re spreading tall stories, then for goodness sakes, stop! Say what you mean and do what you preach! Otherwise, stop disgusting the people around you. We don’t have the time to waste our breath on you. Especially me.

Is your life a tall story or is there some substance to it?

“OKAY, WHO STOPPED THE PAYMENTS ON MY REALITY CHECK?”

You’re back again. Wonderful. Here’s another pictorial illustration specially for you:

Haha… yes.. I know you don’t really like to read this blog. So leave. I’m not forcing anyone. =)

We all need a reality check sometimes. Are we truly happy with everything that’s revolving around us? Is there room for improvement? If there is, do we have the guts to reach out and go for it? Questions questions questions. So many questions. Yet questions determine our choices which result in our actions in life. All these lead to our destiny.

Have you asked yourself a deep powerful burning question today?

“ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE UNIQUE; JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.”

Don’t Read This Post. GO AWAY. I’m in no mood to negotiate. What do you think this is? A funny blog to entertain your otherwise boring life. THIS BLOG IS NOT MEANT FOR YOU. Yes, you heard me right. Now be off. Off you go! I haven’t got too much time on my hands. Unlike YOU, I’m making something out of my life. Yes I am. And I’ve very proud of it. Not to brag. But hey, at least.. something’s happening. Cool

Still here? Here’s a visual illustration of what I’m talking about.

Hmm.. you’re a stubborn little fella, aren’t you? I think we may have a problem. You don’t seem convinced that this blog is not meant for you. What’s that you say? Who’s it meant for then? Wells.. I don’t even know why I bother to explain but maybe you’ll leave after this. This blog is meant for achievers. Eagles. People who soar in the face of adversity. People who create legends. People who make a difference.

No. It’s not you. Don’t even bother to ask. How do I know?! Wells.. Simple. Prove it. Who are you? Better still, who knows you? What have you done? Anything.. say.. on a global level? Maybe you have. So what?! How have you helped humanity? You’ll do something? Ambitious little fella now, aren’t ya? Yeah.. but I’ve heard it all before. Beautifully laid out plans. But that’s all they are now, aren’t they?

You’re just like everyone else. There’re not much difference between you.. and someone on the street. Go away. Don’t go away just because I told you to go away. Go away because you know, deep down in your heart, you can’t be bothered. Yes. You can’t. You’re happy with your small little distractions in life. There is no BIG PICTURE in your life. You don’t even know where you’re headed. So go away, knowing that you are a loser. Yes. Loser. You heard me right. LOSER. Bah! Don’t ever come back.

What are you doing right this very minute to become the person you should be?

You only get out of it what you put into it. If you are a sheep in this world, you’re not going to get much out of it.” - Greg Norman
