“EVERYWHERE IS WALKING DISTANCE IF YOU HAVE THE TIME..”
What really drives people however, is not the goal. It is the desire. Unquenchable desire. Burning desire that lingers. Desire that causes one to burn the bridges and accomplish the impossible. Think of desire as the petrol you put in your car of life. It is the level of desire that determines the grade of petrol. Passion. The ultmate motivator in life.
However pain does help motivate one to stay on track. It is no surprise that out of such extreme adversity, the strong prevail. Anthony Robbins. Robert Kiyosaki. Donald Trump. They had one thing in common. Big debts. The story doesn’t end there however. It motivated them to become the pillars of success they are today.

“What would you do if you were $1m in debt?“
“Sometimes you just got to give yourself what you wish someone else would give you.” - Dr Phil
Recommended Books: “Think & Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. A must read for anyone interested in the 13 laws of success. Read Chapter 1 on Desire.
I can probably associate with the 3 concepts - in pain, know exactly what i want, and have strong desire to achieve it. But, that will mean i lose (almost) everything i have now. How do people decide if they should be contented with what they have, or to make that crazy step out (that could eventually lead to nowhere)?
This question possibly boils down to the fact that you have something of significance to lose in pursuit of a higher purpose. A friend of mine once had to make a decision that could ultimately either end his business or make him become an empire overnight. He chose the latter with the justifications that he started with nothing. If he failed, he would simply just start again. To sum it up, when one aims high, one is aware of the losses that come with it. In fact, opportunity only reveals itself when one has grander ambitions than that of the ordinary mind. The very fact you’re considering this option shows that you’re not contented. Life is short. We weren’t born to be mediocre. Just my 2 cents worth.
