“A DAY WITHOUT SUNSHINE.. IS LIKE.. .. .. NIGHT.”

Ahh.. finally.. a break from work! A long weekend.. this week.. is a sad week. A good friend’s mum passed away and it pains me to know she is suffering. I wish there was something that I could do for her. There’s suffering everywhere.

People lose money in the stock market. Empires crumble. Parent’s savings completely wiped out. Riots. Terrorism. Businesses who have been around may continue to attract new clients but face a new problem. Collection. The act of actually getting the cash from new or old clients.

And during all this chaos… Christmas! Sometimes I think Christmas is there to remind us that we’re not alone. That we can’t succeed alone. If you took God out of the equation in whatever you do in life, He won’t be able to pour out the riches from heaven. He’s the world’s best accountant. He’s the world’s best investor. He’s the world’s best Father. God may have created night, but men surely created darkness. Sometimes, the only way to get out of the darkness.. is to focus.. on the light.

“What good would it be if we gained the whole world.. but lost our soul?”

“I believe that I was lucky to have suffered. Some people don’t realize that in suffering there is great potential, because if you are deprived for any reason.. politically, financially, socially or otherwise.. and if you set your mind in the right direction, you will find that the only way to survive is for you to excel, by being better so you can be treated better.” - Talal Abu-Ghazalel

“The most important thing is God’s blessing and if you believe in God and you believe in yourself, you have nothing to worry about.” - Mohamed Al-Fayed

Recommended Books:
“God is my CEO” by Larry S. Julian . Incorporating God’s principles into business. An easy read that’ll help point one in the right direction or into the light.
